Scheduling & calendar

Schedule ahead, run recurring team rooms, and keep everyone in their own timezone — with Google Calendar sync.

Plan meetings in advance and keep recurring rooms on the same link, day after day.

Scheduled meetings

Create a scheduled meeting from the Schedule page. The room is pre-allocated as a dormant room at create time, so the invite link — /app/join/<roomId> — works from day zero. Starting the meeting activates the room; deleting the schedule drops it.

  • Start time is validated — past times are refused both in the UI (disabled slots, snap-forward) and by the API.
  • Nest AI recap under Record in the schedule form — transcription is only valid when recording is on.

Recurring team rooms

A recurring “team room” gets a numeric short code. Same link every day — ideal for standups and weekly syncs.

Calendar

The calendar offers month / week / day / year views. Every event renders in the viewer’s local timezone, so a meeting set in IST shows correctly for a teammate in PST. Mouse interactions:

  • single-click an event → open it
  • right-click / double-click → context menu
  • right-click / double-click an empty slot → new meeting

Google Calendar

Connect Google Calendar for two-way sync: scheduled meetings (including recurrence rules) are mirrored to the host’s connected calendar. See Integrations to connect it.
